Two men have been jailed by Wolverhampton Crown Court in a case involving conspiracy to commit theft of textile banks. Harinder Singh Rhoad was sentenced to three years and two months in prison and Asher Soloman Nash (also known as Satoshi Nakamoto) to two years and eight months.
A proceeds of crime hearing for Rhoad is due on 14 June, the crown court confirmed. Alan Wheeler, chief executive of the Textile Recycling Association, has warned that theft of textile banks is a growing problem for his industry, with thousands having gone missing in recent years.
