Description
Removal of Redundant Clothing Donation Bins

Over recent months, a number of outdated clothing donation bins belonging to Manningham Community Development Centre have been identified at various locations across the Manchester area.

Many of these bins had fallen into a poor state of repair and appeared to have been neglected for a considerable period. As part of our due diligence, we attempted to contact the organisation using the telephone numbers displayed on the units. Unfortunately, the contact details were no longer operational, and repeated efforts to establish communication were unsuccessful.

Following assessments and in coordination with the relevant local authority, these abandoned bins were removed to prevent ongoing issues such as fly-tipping, vandalism, and visual deterioration of the surrounding environment. The units were found to be beyond economical repair and were subsequently dismantled and responsibly destroyed.

The removal of these neglected bins has helped improve the appearance, safety, and cleanliness of the affected locations, ensuring that public spaces remain well-maintained for local residents and businesses.

We remain committed to working with councils, landowners, and communities to identify and remove redundant or abandoned collection infrastructure, helping to create cleaner and more attractive neighbourhoods throughout the region.
